As much as I love my new site, I’m not so sure I was prepared to handle all of the unforeseen malfunctions that would come along with it.
Many of you contacted me and said that I’m still not showing up in your reader. If that is the case, please try and copy this link into your feed….(let me know if that works)
http:
After you do that, go over to this post and leave a comment saying that you did and you’ll be entered into my GIVEAWAY for a free case of Chobani. I’ll pick a winner tomorrow night.
Secondly, I just noticed last night that ALL of my pictures from my previous 892 posts are no longer showing. This is odd because they were all there just a few days ago so I know that they imported but suddenly, they’ve disappeared. Everything is stored on my Picasa albums and everything is still there so I have no idea what happened. I’m tirelessly looking for a fix but if anyone has ANY idea as to why this might be, I would be so grateful for your insight.
So as much I love the new site, it’s not without fault, which is exactly why I hesitated making the big move in the first place. I know it’s going to take some time to get all of the bugs worked out and I appreciate you all being patient and sticking with me as I try to get myself settled.
THANK YOU to all my of wonderful and supportive readers. :)
Well even though I’m still figuring out the kinks, I’ll just keep on blogging as normal. I hope you all don’t mind.
Today was a day reserved for rest and preparation for a very chaotic week ahead.
Breakfast
A routined Sunday in our house goes something like this:
- Sleep in (wake up around 7:30ish)
- Check Email/Blogs
- Start breakfast
- Eat breakfast with Toly (the only day of the week we sit down and eat breakfast together)
- Browse the paper, cut coupons, make store list, sip coffee
- Clean house
- Grocery Shop
- Run Errands
- Make Dinner
- Make lunches/prep dinners for the week
- Unwind
Lunch
Instead of napping like I had planned, I spent hours trying to work on the blog, just to get frusterated and upset that I was finding no answers.
I have no patience when it comes to technical errors. Computer guru’s have my complete and utter appreciation!
I eventually gave up and decided to pour my frustrations into making dinner.
Dinner
- Arugula
- Cucumber
- Avocado
- Grilled Asparagus
- Grilled Peaches
- Honey Goat Cheese
- Sesame Almonds
- Raspberry Balsamic
This was a Wild Caught Coho Salmon which is apparently the last of the season. (as stated by my fish guy at Wegmans)
Time to get back to work. I may need some wine to get me through this one though.
Hope you all had a great weekend!!

Yay! You showed up in google reader for me, Lauren! And don’t you worry I would hunt you down even if you didn’t! I love your new look

Hey Lauren! Love the new site design, but I agree that the technical difficulties that come along with are a HEADACHE!
Aren’t Sunday’s great?! That’s a typical Sunday over here too…except when we’re traveling or have plans on a Sunday (like today) it throws me through a loop!
Hey Paige! It’s good to hear from you! How have you been? I know what you mean about having those un-routined Sundays. We’ve been traveling a lot so this was the first one in a long time that was just right.
Test
I wish I had half the patience and/or love for cooking that you do – I know it would help me make healthier choices! Your meals look soooooooo good I can almost taste them through the pictures! Wish I could hire you as my personal chef – hehe!
Awww, thank you Jillian! You’re too sweet but I’m sure you are better than you think.
Hmmm… I just blew up a bag of instant rice in the microwave the other day. You may have more confidence in me than is warranted. LoL!
I may be an Engineer but I suck at computer and web issues. Good luck my dear!
