That is how I felt for the majority of today.  I’ve got about 12 different projects going on right now and I’m trying to line everything up for the rest of the month but my brain is starting to go to mush.  I leave for Boston first thing Friday morning (HLS baby!) and as entirely thrilled as I am, I almost feel like I need another week just to prepare myself.

I’m leading a panel this year on Blogging with Brands which is going to be pretty outstanding (so those of you attending, I suggest you check it out. 🙂 but is taking up a great amount of time to finish all of the odds and ends.  As much as I love speaking at events, there is always a great sense of relief when it’s over so I just sit back and take everything in.

I cut my run short today so that I could have time to fit in an at-home bootcamp.  I used to make these up frequently but got away from it for awhile.  Well surprise surprise, they are coming back and I can’t wait to share more of these with you!

Yeah, this isn’t easy.  It sounds easy right?  I mean 20 minutes doesn’t sound like a long time at all to be working out. Well this 20 minutes is no joke!  Think plyometrics to the max, which is my absolute favorite way to incorporate cardio and strength into one move.

I did manage to eat and eat well throughout the day but nothing that you haven’t seen in the past week. (Cereal for breakfast, leftover spinach and turkey burger for lunch) but dinner was something to note.

My deconstructed fish taco bowl never steers me wrong.

  • spinach and romaine
  • grilled squash, red pepper, broccoli
  • black beans
  • red cabbage
  • grilled seasoned tilapia
  • homemade guac
  • salsa
  • greek yogurt

Toly always notes that fish tacos are highly underrated.  He admits he would probably never order them on a menu but he can’t get enough of them when I make them at home.

Now I promised myself a little break tomorrow so let’s see if I can keep it.  I’m teaching back to back spin classes in the morning, I have a meeting in the afternoon, and a special date with the husband tomorrow night.  I just don’t hope I forget to pack somewhere in between that list.

    I. Love. Fish. Tacos!

Ok, greek yogurt on salad, how is it? I way prefer hummus, salsa, or plain balsamic to dressing but I have a hard time imagining greek yogurt on salad but I’m intrigued.

    1. Lauren says:

It’s great! I usually only use it for Mexican inspired salads but greek yogurt and salsa on a salad is a fantastic dressing!
