Favorite Fall Recipes From Courtney, Sweet Tooth Sweet Life + Wild Harvest Giveaway

by Lauren on October 8, 2012

I am beyond excited to kick off this week of guests posts with no other than my favorite sweet tooth, Courtney.  Courtney and I have been blog friends for about a year but we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know each other over the past few months on a much deeper level.  Put her and I together with a cup of coffee (or wine) and we will talk ourselves well into the night.

I absolutely adore this girl and I’m so happy to have her take over today, sharing some of her favorite fall-inspired recipes.

Hi everyone! My name is Courtney and I’m the author behind the blog Sweet Tooth, Sweet Life. I’m 28, a former elementary school teacher (you can read about that here if you’d like) and currently running my own online personal training business, Courtney’s Total Body Wellness.

I live up in Upstate, NY with my husband and high school sweetheart, Jay, and have lived here all of my life. When I’m not working on creating personal training plans, you’ll most likely find me blogging, cooking or baking up a storm in the kitchen, or spending time with some of my favorite friends and family.

I’m so excited to be guest blogging here while Lauren is away enjoying her fabulous vacation…and a bit jealous of her fun in the sun.

So I’m not sure what the weather is like where you are, but around here in Upstate NY, things are cooling off quite nicely. As much as I love summer, fall has probably got to be my favorite season of the year. Not only does it mean sweaters, scarves, and boots, but it also means I get to fully embrace my pumpkin obsession, AND it winds up giving me brand new motivation to get cookin’ in the kitchen.

When the cooler temperatures start coming in, nothing beats a nice, warm meal from the crockpot or freshly baked loaf of bread. So today, I thought I’d share some of my favorite fall recipes with you all. Enjoy!

Light ‘n Easy Cincinnati Chili

Pumpkin Black Bean Soup

Mal’s Easy Chili

Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Chicken

Hearty Oat Loaf

Pumpkin Banana Bread

Cranberry Apple Bread

What are some of your favorite recipes to make once the weather starts cooling off?

A few months ago, I was sent a crazy awesome package from Wild Harvest as part of the Wild Harvest Breakfast Showdown contest.  Using some of the ingredients, I came up with a pretty fantastic Cinnamon Raisin Quinoa Granola Recipe that quickly became a breakfast favorite.

Well Wild Harvest is now sending one of YOU the same great package.

Simply leave a comment on this post with your favorite fall recipe and I’ll choose one winner to receive this care package from Wild Harvest. Contest open until Monday, October 8th.

Disclaimer: This giveaway is sponsored by Wild Harvest.  Wild Harvest will be sending one winner the above products at no cost.
