Wow! It almost feels weird to be here blogging again after a very long and much needed break. I didn’t intend to just leave this space hanging, but honestly, it was very therapeutic for me to take a long break from writing on here and get myself refocused. Truth be told, for a long time, blogging has felt really unnatural for me and it never felt like that before so I knew that was my sign to step away and assess.
Life is happening hard and fast over here and I knew that if couldn’t keep up, I’d miss something major in this process, so I took a huge step back, took a deep breath and began listening to a little voice inside of me that was telling me to slow way down.
I’m not saying that this space is going away but I am saying that there is going to be big changes for Say What You Need to Say coming very soon. First and foremost, for the past several months, I’ve been working on getting my online personal training and health coaching business underway. Why I decided to do this all at the cusp of some major life changes is beyond me, but here I am diving into a dream I’ve had for a long time. So if you care to join me in the journey, I’ll be back very soon with a brand new website, design and brand and I promise I will have way more authenticity to offer.
A few other life updates that have been consuming our days….
The boys are growing up before my eyes! Isaiah turned 6 months and Grayson continues to grow more into his skin each day.
Along with prioritizing my life lately, I decided to put the majority of my focus in these two for the moment. Being their mom has been the best and most important gift I’ve ever been given, and God made it pretty clear this year that my job was to step back and put way more of my energy into their lives. It was honestly the easiest and best decision I have made yet.
I’ve still been working at the gym, teaching classes and training clients but I am feeling called to invest into a personal business of training clients online. It’s been a work in progress and I’m trying to take it slowly until I know I can unveil myself 100% into this new venture, but I can’t tell you how excited I am about it all.
We bought a house!
Yep, so in the midst of this all, we bought our first home and are getting ready to move in this weekend. Oy, moving with little people is nearly impossible but we are making it through. Our new house is everything we imagined it would be for raising a family and we are thrilled to start making memories in a place we were entirely led to.
So friends that is where I will leave you for now. I promise I will be back soon with so much more and a new and improved look on this site. Thank you for giving me grace during this time of rest and I can’t wait to come back refreshed and refocused.
Love you all!
