Unfortunately, it’s not such a happy one here considering we are getting hit with a little snow storm. Nothing like welcoming the first day of spring with a few inches of slush. Ugh!
Despite the crummy weather, I thought I’d bring a little light to today by sharing some things I’ve been really loving lately.
Iced Decaf Chais
Well not the entire week has been bad. Earlier, we had some very lovely spring-like days, so I jumped on the chance to make myself a decaf iced chai latte using the Tazo (decaf) Chai Tea Lattle mix. Normally, I would use almond milk to make ice lattes but this was a little different, which brings me to my next item.
Silk Cashew Milk
John brought this home for me to try the other week and I’ve been loving it! It’s a very nice change from my usual almond milk and it is definitely much creamier in consistency, which makes it the perfect latte base. I do notice a slight taste difference so it’s not as vanilla-ey as the almond milk but it’s still sweet enough on its own. Try it!
Essie Nail Polish in Watermelon
I am all about the bright colors with nail polish now that it is spring! I picked up this new (to me) color the other day and have it currently on my nails and toes. It just makes me happy.
Emily’s Sunbutter Energy Bites
These are so good and so perfect for on-the-go snacking. Emily made these up a few weeks ago and I immediately made a batch after seeing I had all of the ingredients on hand. Since then, I’ve made another batch. John even loves them so they go fast.
Lindt Lindor Truffles in Caramel with Seat Salt
I definitely eat at least one piece of dark chocolate a day, usually after lunch, so when I saw these the other day, I simply could not pass them up! Lindor truffles are amazing to begin with, but now they make them in dark chocolate with caramel and sea salt?!?! I die! They are ah-mazing!
That’s all I have. I hope you all are having a warm and sunny first day of spring!
